Trail Running @ Lake Guntersville State Park – Seales & Lickskillet Trails

The Seales Trail is about 1.6 miles each way.

The Seales Trail is about 1.6 miles each way. After a break at the campground end of the Seales Trail, I turned around and started running back.

At some point about a quarter mile from the campground end, I accidentally got off trail and ended up to the left of this ridge instead of on top of the ridge.

Around the ridge I found this rope swing, which looks pretty fun for anyone camping there during the summer.

I could tell the rope swing has been heavily used, and I really hate it when people trash the trails and the park like this!

I got back on the right path, and then when I reached the maintenance building again, I decided to turn and cut up the service road so I could get on the Lickskillet Trail.
