Julie Beth & Sam: Swim Lessons Week 2

Julie Beth and Sam made great progress in their 1st week of swim lessons, but they got even better during week 2! It actually is quite amazing how much they have improved from just 2 weeks of swim lessons. See the highlights below from their “swim show” on the final day of swim lessons.

Sam is ready to jump off the diving board without any help during week 2 of swim lessons!

Last week the instructor sort of threw Sam off the diving board, but now Sam is ready to jump off the diving board without any help after week 2 of swim lessons!

JULIE BETH’S SWIM LESSONS WEEK 2

After 2 weeks of swim lessons, Julie Beth has mastered the diving board and swimming across the deep end.

After 2 weeks of swim lessons, Julie Beth is becoming a pro at jumping off the diving board and swimming across the deep end.

Jennifer and I are very proud of Julie Beth and Sam for being so brave and doing so well at swim lessons. While we still take plenty of safety precautions around pools and the lake, we feel much more at ease knowing that all 3 of our kids can swim across the water if they accidentally fall into the pool.

I had also been hoping that now I could relax a little more when I am swimming in the pool with the kids, but it is actually just the opposite. They are so excited to practice their new swim moves that they fight to take turns with me helping them swim across the deep end. They do all the swimming themselves, but I float in the middle of the pool and help lift them up very briefly to get a breath as they cross the pool.
